Join North Tyneside Business Forum on a visit to Spanish City!

An opportunity for businesses to view the progress on site at Spanish City and find out about commerical plans for the site, from Kymel Trading, when renovation work is complete in Spring 2018. There will be an opportunity for networking and refreshments in the newly built Beefeater restaurant adjacent to the Dome before the tour.

Due to a restriction on persons allowed on site at any one time, there will be 2 sessions – 1pm and 2pm. Please sign up for ONE session.

You must register at the beefeater at 1pm or 2pm.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There are council owned car parks close to the site:

  • Spanish City car park, Whitley Bay
  • Spanish City Link Road, Whitley Bay (on-street pay and display bays)

The metro is a 10 minute walk from the seafront.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Please note as this is a working construction site we are limited to spaces, therefore you must bring either your ticket from EventBrite or show the email on your phone to confirm allocation and gain access. Please come to the Beefeater to register.

You will not be allowed on site if you do not sign in at the Beefeater.

We also require that you wear sensible shoes (no trainers, heels or fashion shoes allowed) and we will provide hard hats and hi-viz vests – these must be worn at all times.

You will be allowed to take photographs.

All of my staff would like to visit, is this allowed?

At present, due to a restriction in persons allowed on site at any one time, there is a restriction of 1 person per organisation. We will let you know if there is space for further staff to attend.

All business forum members should have received a password for the event page, via email, on Monday 23 October 2017 from North Tyneside Business Forum. Please contact us if you have not received the email and we will check that your business is a member.
