Working with companies of all sizes and across all sectors, it’s our aim to create a supportive network to ensure local business is well connected within the North Tyneside area.
The North Tyneside Business Forum supports and works with other groups who have local business interests at heart. Effective and sustainable links with established business organisations maximise the impacts of all of our activities and make the best use of available resources. In addition we work with partners in the public and third sectors for a comprehensive approach.
The Forum acts as a link between local business groups and chambers, North Tyneside Council, the education sector and community and third sector organisations. Sharing a geographical catchment area and with similar goals, it makes sense to work more closely together to help respond to the needs of local business and local communities.
The Forum is pleased to support the local Chambers of Trade, promoting their activities and signposting their member services.
The Chambers of Wallsend, Whitley Bay and North Shields work tirelessly to promote the interests of their members and each offer a range of benefits as well as a schedule of member meetings, events and marketing initiatives to showcase local services.
The Business Forum is managed by a private sector-lead Management Group who meet bi-monthly to discuss business in North Tyneside.
