North Tyneside Business Forum is the lead support organisation for the business community in North Tyneside; encouraging economic growth, employment, sustainability and corporate responsibility.
North Tyneside Business Forum has been established for over 8 years and is here to create a supportive network for businesses in North Tyneside and ensure local business is well connected and represented. We support any business with a trading address in North Tyneside and membership is free for businesses with a trading address in North Tyneside.
Working with other groups to ensure a business voice is heard
Membership of the Business Forum provides opportunities for business views to be expressed to the key decision makers to help generate economic prosperity, business growth and employment. We are closely linked with the local Chambers of Trade & Commerce and North East England Chamber of Commerce.
North Tyneside Business Forum is consulted on all major local issues in the borough, including emergency services provision, Council budgets, North of Tyne devolution, education, employment, health care, the local area plan and transport.
We aim to submit a formal response to any issue which will directly affect the business community in the local area and will, where appropriate, ask members for their input.
SMEs make up over 95% of the North Tyneside economy and it’s in everyone’s interest to help our local business base thrive.
Our training partner The Business Factory is here to encourage residents to explore self-employment, and provides support for growing SME’s. The North Tyneside Business Forum provides a one stop shop for any members with any question relating to business, we can swiftly channel any business to the right support.
We can put members straight to the heart of local business by accessing the most relevant support organisations.
We provide dedicated communications and host events on what businesses in the borough want. We also provide excellent networking opportunities with key decision makers and other businesses.
