Sector Groups

The Business Forum operates a number of specific sector groups so that we can provide support and services tailored to meet the needs of that particular sector.

Each group is peer-led and managed and driven by a group of professionals from local business who understand the needs of the sector.

The aim is to provide a network of support, shared experience and self-help, and to give a focus for the interests of that sector in the North Tyneside area, and across the wider North East region.

The Forum runs a North Tyneside Construction Forum and the North Tyneside Manufacturers’ Forum which meet several times a year.

The Sector Groups also facilitate their own events and meetings, which give an opportunity for businesses in the sector to come together, during these meetings you will:

  • Hear about latest developments in the sector
  • Discuss issues of common concern
  • Learn about up and coming business opportunities
  • Meet other businesses operating in the local area

To be included in communications specific to your industry (Construction or Manufacturing) including notification of events and meetings, please register your business by signing up here emailing business.forum@northtyneside.gov.uk or calling 0191 643 6000.
