Members of North Tyneside Business Forum are being urged to give their views on how North Tyneside Council can meet the challenge of having less resources and greater demand for services.

The Initial budget proposals, from the previous Cabinet meeting in November 2018, can be found on the North Tyneside Council website https://my.northtyneside.gov.uk/sites/default/files/meeting/related-documents/Cabinet%20meeting%2026%2011%202018.pdf

“North Tyneside Business Forum welcome the opportunity to be a part of the consultation process for the North Tyneside Council budget for 2019/20. We have already had several meetings with key officials as a part of this process to help ensure that the views of the Business Community are represented in this important exercise and help make North Tyneside a great place to live, work and visit.”

David W Bavaird, Chair North Tyneside Business Forum

North Tyneside Business Forum management group will be receiving a presentation from the Head of Finance at their next management group meeting and will be submitting a formal response to the consultation. There will also be a representative for the business community at the North Tyneside Council cabinet meeting on Monday 21st January.

Any member business can have their input into our response by emailing business.forum@northtyneside.gov.uk by Friday 18 January 2019.
