We cut through the fluff

We cut through the fluff

We love talking to members about what they do, why they love North Tyneside as a place to do business. We’ve been chatting to Roar Digital Marketing.

Tell us a little more about the business

We’re a North East based Google Partner digital marketing agency, working with businesses from start-ups to big-name brands. We offer honest, straight-talking digital marketing services to companies looking to take things to the next level.

We help businesses make a significant impact, become industry leaders and amaze their customers. We do this by offering specialist services in: PPC (Pay per click advertising), Search Engine Optimisation, Analytics, Hubspot Management, Digital Journey Planning, Content creation, and Consultancy.

What is your motivation for doing what you do?

Having previously worked for some of the leading agencies in the north of England, around 4-5 years ago I realised some of the issues clients were facing around trust, cost, transparency, and understanding of digital services. This was my light bulb moment, as I realised I could create a digital service offering that delivered the same if not better results than these agencies, but would also create new type of relationship, whereby the client had full visibility and understanding of what we would be doing and why.

What are your plans for the business?

We very recently went through a full brand refresh and launched our fantastic new website roardigitalmarketing.co.uk which was a huge investment into the business but I saw as a necessary step to fully showcase the level of service we provide, and better aligns us with the clientele we are looking to work with in the future.

We also recently moved into our new 4 person office, and recently hired a new member of staff, with our ambitious growth plans and a haul of new top tier local and national clients, we hope to be making between 2 and 3 new hires over the coming year.

Over the coming 1-2 years we’re looking to scale quite quickly and with the brand, website, level of skillset, business partners, offices, and team we have, we see a very bright future ahead.

How has North Tyneside Business Forum helped your business?

The forum, has started some great conversations for us. We’ve been able to connect with some businesses who previously struggled to start conversations with, but also gave us a platform for people to find out more about us too. We heard about our current landlord via the forum, and after a brief chat decided to move into our new offices in Whitley Bay.

For me the best thing about the forum, is that it is clearly designed to support small – medium business owners with no pressure. I find this refreshing as the people who run it, clearly have a good understanding of the pressures that come with running your own company.

Have you worked in collaboration with any other North Tyneside businesses?

Firstly as advised we took up our office space from another NTBF member Space@, who is now our current landlord of our stunning new offices in Whitley Bay.

After attending a few events and speaking as the Google speaker at one of the events, we’ve now started collaborating with another forum member Michael James from NE1 web design, as his business services compliment our services well for our small to medium clients.

One thing that makes your business different from the rest

Clarity

We cut through the fluff and deliver meaningful digital marketing results to support significant business growth. We don’t hide behind jargon or pretty monthly reports designed to only show what’s right, and miss out what’s gone wrong or not worked as well.

We don’t confuse clients with marketing spiel, instead we educate our clients as we go and show them our strategies. We invite our clients to learn from us, giving them the control and the insight to recognise when our work is bringing in results. We have found this to be a huge USP, for us as our clients then have a better ability to fully understand, appreciate and even challenge us on the work and results we achieve for them.
