Healthy Workforces and the COVID-19 Vaccine

I am sure that I do not need to tell you that having a healthy workforce is fundamental to running a successful business – a fact that has been pulled into sharp focus by the COVID-19 pandemic.

I understand the immense pressures that businesses have been under, and do not wish to add to them unnecessarily.

However, I do want to make a simple request of you:
• to encourage
• to facilitate
• and to promote the uptake of COVID-19 vaccination in your staff.

The best way that we as a society will be able to return to normality is through the protection afforded to us by our immune system. An incredible global scientific effort has given us the gift of safe and effective vaccines against COVID-19 which benefit us all individually and collectively.

All of us have contributed to the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic in different ways, and as employers you too can make a significant difference, as well as protecting your own business interests.

It is a win win situation!
