Key Messages to Businesses after Covid Confusion

Key Messages to Businesses after Covid Confusion

Clearing up confusion for businesses in North Tyneside

Following the confusion over Government guidance yesterday, we’ve listened to the concerns of our members and are working with the local authority and our partners to keep North Tyneside a safe and welcoming place to visit and work.
By working together the way that we have been throughout the last 15 months we’re a strong force and can help support each other to get through this.
Chair of North Tyneside Business Forum, Karen Goldfinch sat down today with Wendy Burke, Director of Public Health, North Tyneside Council.
Wendy gave a clear message “have confidence in your Covid secure measures” and “be ready to welcome both residents and visitors into the area”
There are no travel restrictions and no local lockdown. You can still meet indoors in groups of six or two households but be cautious and follow the public health guidance of hands, face, space, fresh air.
